Open Pore grain alignment?

It's a screw-up...if you ask for a replacement they will, it's a warranty, costs them a few hundred bucks. Having it mis-matched from new is a no-go.
The other issue with the screwy grain is just a natural formation of the actual wood, or a mis-match on joined veneer - that would not bother me. (no punn LOL).

Great looking and a nice fix! I'm curious, if you know, they just replaced the cupholder door? How did they get it to match? With picture/etc? Seems they'd have to replace more than just the door.

just checked mine, i wouldnt even to think to look unless for this thread but i can confirm its all aligned. if it wasnt i would def ask them for a replacement
