How do you replace the door light and trunk light with LED lights?
Does anybody know where I can get an LED that fits the door light?
and ones that fit the two lights in the trunk?

I just opened my trunk today and I realized that I can barely see anything with the lights that are already installed

I'd appreciate it if someone has a link to a site that has LED lights that fit:
the door lights
the two trunk lights
and the Glovebox

(I can't see very will at night so I really need to change them as soon as possible )

You would have to look up the bulb type which if it follows many other manufactures would be a 194 type bulb. Vleds.com is where i get all of mine from. they are bright and good quality. of all the bulbs i have bought only had an issue with 3. I have replaced everything in my infiniti to LED and many have been moved through 3 different cars over the years, so i say thats pretty good.

The boot/trunk lights in the estate/wagon appear to be LED (like the ones in the top centre console inside the car) is that not the same for the saloon?

There are two lights in the trunk/boot
one on the top and one on the side to the right
they don't look LED to me
if they are LED that means that I have to replace them with plasma LEDs which are 10X brighter

The door lights are LED, the lights in the rear door or lid are filament bulbs, T10 or W5W socket, needs to be removed from the inside.

I replaced the trunk light, the right side of the trunk, with a LED (T10 size). I used a hard plastic (you can use a credit card), place it between the lens and push from the front to disengage the clip and pull the lens inboard. I'm trying to figure out to replace the one in the trunk lid, the red and white light. Any ideas? If I can't remove it I'll just run a LED strip by tapping on the power coming from the right side trunk light.

I have also replaced the T 10 with LED. I have not yet find out how to remove the trunk lid light. The trunk light with one lamp in right corner is not enough to illuminate the trunk.

I have to double check, but I think that the C400 has all LEDs ... Pretty sure. I was shocked when my recent service loaner CLA (Which was configured to almost what I paid for the C400) didn't have a trunk LED.. If they went all LED on the 400 and not the 300, that's surprising to me since they're made on the same line and doesn't seem terribly efficient in terms of build consistency.

I just installed a LED strip, tap the power from the current trunk light. Ran the wires toward the side, ensure the wires doesn't get tangled on the trunk lid hinge. I've attached some pics.

I used electrical tape ti wrap the wires and to keep it neat

Wires nicely tucked away

Where i put the strip

How it looked

I still haven't changed that weak trunk light. I forgot about if for 3 years. I was gonna ask this, but I discovered that I already did 3 years ago. So just pop it out with a credit card and replace it with a strong LED Bulb? What kind of light is it? T10?

I was using my trunk this week and I realized that I couldn't see anything at all.
