ok here you go I was really worried after seeing some of the stories about vibrations after 40mph in my car so I decided to take it to Mercedes and let them fix my two front rims. got a loaner for two days ( a whole different story altogether) got the car back and they were right it was two bent rims in the front and I guess its not my job to figure why I only got the vibration at 40mph but it runs extremely smooth now. again I will always go to the dealership for mechanical issues which is a another story altogether because where I live I an in the center of three mercedes dealerships. so I can haggle too.

I have a 15 C300 with 30k on it and I have a vibration issue that only happens under acceleration. If I'm neutral throttle the vibration goes away. It can be felt in the steering wheel and pedals. I just bought this car and I was able to go back to the dealer that serviced the car and get the records. Apparently at 22k the engine was removed from my car because of a "loud piston" noise and rebuilt, then a crankshaft sensor was replaced and a right front CV joint, however with all that done there is still this acceleration vibration. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this...Thanks guys!

have you tried rebalancing the front tyres? A cheap and easy first step.

I have airmatic on my s205 aswell, and I have for the longest time been of the impression that the fault lies with airmatic - MB has denied this several times, but I remain unconvinced - I have zero insight on mechanincs, my assessment is based purely on what I am feeling from the car, so who am I to question professionals - I am interested in learning more about your thoughts on airmatic and vibrations / shockabsortion with the s205 - What makes you believe that airmatic will result in increased vibrations?

I have to mention, that I have never in any of my previous cars (with or without sports suspension, 19+" rims, low profile tyres) experienced a more uncomfortable ride.

Sure it "swooshes" over soft changes in the road, but other than that, I cannot find any comfort with it - To me it feels like i get information from every single tiny imperfection in the road surface transported into me albeit in a suble way, sometimes I even get shakes from invisible changes in the road - It's driving me nuts.
I have exactly same problem on my w204 c180 amg with 17 rims.
I changed;

4 NewContinental premium contact 6 tyres
A 203 333 10 14 RUBBER BUSHING (upper control arm) Lemförder
A 204 330 06 25 FRONT WHEEL HUB (left - right) Mb original
MB original Front discs
MB original Front Brake Pads
All rims + new tyres checked in 5 different shops.
we couldn't find a solution.

I want to change Lower control arms.

Did you solve the problem?

Regards.
