I have an S205 that feels like it has a wheel balance issue at bang on 70mph. Its smooth at 75 and smooth at 65 but 70mph produces an intermittent front to back wheel vibration. As 50-70mph is where most wheel imbalances are felt, its on my list of things for the dealer to check when it goes in for its software updates in a few weeks.

The nature of the vibrations is from the car itself. I can feel it in my speeder-leg resting against the side of the panel, the door and console armrest, the leg support, the back support, sometimes combined with a little bit of shaking from the steering wheel.
The vibrations are very subtle, but the impact of them is crushing. Especially after longer driving sessions 1+ hrs, when the car is coming to a stop or is turned off, then it's like the most peaceful moment in your life.
I have airmatic on my s205 aswell, and I have for the longest time been of the impression that the fault lies with airmatic - MB has denied this several times, but I remain unconvinced - I have zero insight on mechanincs, my assessment is based purely on what I am feeling from the car, so who am I to question professionals - I am interested in learning more about your thoughts on airmatic and vibrations / shockabsortion with the s205 - What makes you believe that airmatic will result in increased vibrations?
I have to mention, that I have never in any of my previous cars (with or without sports suspension, 19+" rims, low profile tyres) experienced a more uncomfortable ride.
Sure it "swooshes" over soft changes in the road, but other than that, I cannot find any comfort with it - To me it feels like i get information from every single tiny imperfection in the road surface transported into me albeit in a suble way, sometimes I even get shakes from invisible changes in the road - It's driving me nuts.
As AirMatic is very, very smooth on the motorway, this is I feel why wheel vibration (which goes through suspension arms, not the air struts) is more notable. Its a bit like the wind noise issue. If you had a noisy car, wind noise would be less noticeable, but because the C Class is so quiet, wind noise stands out. I feel the wheel imbalance (and it really does feel like that) can be felt more because the car is so smooth, whereas with steel suspension being more rigid, you'll not get as smooth a ride in the first place which masks other vibrations.
In any event I'm sure they (or I) will be able to resolve the vibration with a wheel balancing session. Its only very minor, you can't see the steering wheel movement, you can just feel it come and go at circa 70mph.
Have you tried taking the car to be balanced on a Road Force balancer? I had to resort to this on my Z4 as I bought new wheels for it that no matter what the dealer or indy tried, still had an on off vibration at motorway speeds. When I took it to a road force balancer garage they found an issue with the tyre moulding, adjusted the balancing that bit more and its now fine.

Switched to NON runflats and it was gone....
Interesting I was told that a Few weeks ago for my w204 when I told them about my vibration noises at 40mph. let me know how that worked for you because both front rims bent????
My car is smooth as glass now.
Ok Thats just what I am going to do...........
