Turbo whine

I have a 2015 c300. About 20% of the time when accelerating to highway speeds and for about 20 minutes thereafter - when I accelerate there is a relatively high pitched whine. Doesn't seem to impact performance too much and I plan on ignoring this until the 10k service.

any guesses as to what this is? Is waiting to fix this a poor strategy?

Otherwise I have been very happy with the car.

Thanks

Why don't you just have your dealer check it out for you?

I would have it checked out. You don't say how loud it is. If loud it can be signs of a torque converter failing or transmission oil pump.
