MBTex replacement cover installation problem?

Has anyone else been unimpressed with the job done by the dealership replacing the bleeding MBTex seat covers?

My seat covers were changed a month ago, and I had to take the car back for loose material under the rear center armrest, plus the plastic cover for one of the child seat mounts fell out, and there were wrinkles and exposed underside material on the drivers seat due to a poor install. I was still not happy with the driver seat after the second attempt to fix it. The dealer service manager asked me to wait two weeks for the material to stretch and the wrinkles to disappear. Two weeks later and it looks exactly the same.

I wanted the opinion of some other owners, just to make sure I am not over reacting. I am not happy with the portion of the seat bottom near the front, movable piece. It is folded over a bit. I am also not happy with the wrinkles on the bottom rear. The driver seat gets the most "traffic", and I am worried about potential issues down the line. Plus I think it looks crappy.

Before pic. And then two after.

I also wouldn't like the part near the thigh support. The wrinkles toward the rear wouldn't bother me as much but I think you are right about it needing to be fixed overall.

That's shoddy work. Mine look like new seats and I tried hard to find something after getting the car back.

I said this in one of the original MBtex fiasco threads, but you can't expect your local dealer to do as nice a job as from the factory.

They don't have the right tools, knowledge, or care. One minute they are changing oil and tires, the next doing interior work? This is exactly what I expected. Looks like a bad job from Tijuana.

Take a look at another "The best or nothing" seat cover fix:
