Cell phone car mount
I am looking for a good cell phone mount to have my phone within easy access in the car.
Is there anyone who can recommend a good looking, not too bulky one?

Thank you!!
I couldn't find a mount that had a footprint small enough to fit anywhere on the mid console. Didn't think for a second I could make use of the (useless) cd-slot.

I personally wouldn't do that one because it blocks all your Command Buttons.

This one is amazing. I put it on the center vent of my C400 and just shut off the air. Looks almost Factory. Surprises everyone

I have both of these and I recommend them. I talked about them in a thread that is just like this one. They are aethestically pleasing to the eye and they match the aluminum that is everywhere inside the car.

I didn't want any tape leaving marks on my W205. I found a cell phone mount on Amazon that fits that requirements.
Amazon.com: Car Mount, WizGear™ Universal Air Vent Magnetic Car Mount Holder, for Cell Phones and Mini Tablets with Fast Swift-SnapTM Technology, Magnetic Cell Phone Mount: Cell Phones & Accessories
I use the left vent in my car. while not perfect, it does the job.

Thank you for all the suggestions.
I have ordered both the cd-slot and the air vent type. I see which one I like most.

No not driving..I have not added that option/software to keep the video active while moving..see no use (for me anyways)...but the sound over the HK is stellar !!

Just a warning, the Logitech vent one doesn't work for the W205 vents.
The Logitech mount requires to be pushed in fairly deep into the vent, which means that the adjust knob in the middle of the vent protrudes further out which in result doesn't allow for the phone to make a solid contact with the Logitech magnetic clip.

I am still waiting on my car delivery!!!
I'll use the phone without the mount first. So i can truly appreciate the interior with out any interruptions.
If i think i need a mount, then i'd purchase the slot mount.
One drawback to the mount is the magnetic strip, I don't use cases on my phone, Period! I like the feel of my iphone in my hand, hell, that's why i paid so much money for it. So stinking a magnetic strip would leave my phone looking strange!

Ah I see. I actually have the metal strip because I was using a mount that was attached to the a/c vent. Those mounts do not work with the w205. Sigh....

When I was in France I saw a C300 taxi with the phone mounted directly to the left of the screen, as someone who uses Waze that would be the best position but I wasn't actually in the taxi it was driving ahead of us.
I've outlined the area here
What kind of mount could go there?

Hey guys, it is clear that there are not a lot of options for us with this car and its vents. I am in the group that does not want to leave any residue behind in their car. Also, while I like the CD slot mounted options out there (and there are a lot of them), I do not like how it blocks the buttons. I had one in my 335 for a while and it permanently "dented" the dust guard felt at the opening to the CD slot.
It is a bit bulky and wipes out a cup holder, but for longer trips when I have Waze or Escort Live running, I use this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Otherwise I just leave the phone in an empty cup holder till something cool comes out that works better.
