Just attempted the job and I'm far from happy with the end result! Let's just say from the moment I decided to do this wrap I screwed up! Believe me!!
So anyway attempted and half way thru started raining! Not good! Absolute bigger to do with the grille fitted aswell ...but I ain't paying for the bumper and grille to come off again so will manage with it on.
Going to rip the sodding thing of and do it again,from a distance it looks great and I really like the detail it gives but close up and I ain't happy!
Needs to be perfect and it will next time...just minus the rain!

I used red foil (oem)..... And I feel completely ripped off with it! Don't even ask how much is was! And it's getting taken off ! Oh well not like am starving.....
Will be using a roll of viynl next.
It's exactly the same thing in my view! (Just have to see if it's the same colour match)
For anyone thinking of dong the mod.... Don't buy the oem foil unless you like spending lots of money on sod all!

 

Actually, i bought the foil oem for the side mirror cover but its taking so long.. i want to get the vinyl for the grill but need to color match it with oem foil. i was thinking if i can find a closer picture of the side mirror red accent then bring it to the shop and have it installed with vinyl and cancel my order. I think the side mirror cover foil is more detailed.

I honestly wouldn't waste your money on the oem foil be it side mirrors or the grille, but it's your money and choice, mine arrived and I opened the box and I felt like I paid for a box of fresh air! How MB can put the price they do (I can't even bring myself to type it! Haha) I have no idea.
It's viynl that's all.i was expecting something different... Don't know what but for that price it should have come with a free gold bar!
