Still no help with wind noise

After 3 trips to my dealer over the wind noise issue and 3 calls to MB they escalated my case to a manager who finally called me today and regurgitated more of the same company dribble about it not being a problem because all c300's display the same wind noise. He denied that MB had provided anyone with accoustic glass. Can't afford to replace the car but you can bet it will be my last Mercedes.

If you're that unhappy with your dealer, open a case with MBUSA.

I doubt they will admit to it.


At my 10k C400 first service I tried to bring up.

I was about to tell him about the noise and he filled in my sentence "let me guess.. wind noise? you and many others my friend"

Today i took in me E550 for service and interior trim repair and they gave me a C300 RWD with the 18"s rims.

Wind noise is bit more louder on the C300 than my C400 but not by much.

At this point.. I like the car enough since its tuned and has Michelin pilot sports that performance makes up for a few annoying issues.

Sorry, just re-read it. I see you did speak with MB. I still say if you're not satisfied with the outcome continue elevating. From what I've read of those who did get acoustic glass, it appears their dealers were involved in helping to escalate it. I take it your dealer is not willing to help you either?

I feel your pain...I have the same issue with my C400. I guess I'll take the $$ hit and trade it in...terribly disappointing. My first and last MB.... And my dealership tried several remedies window seal/door seal...but it didn't resolve the issue...oh well...I guess at least for me...MB wasn't all that I expected it to be.
