Remove Front Wheels

I know this sounds like a super basic question but I am trying to remove my front wheels and I simply cannot figure out where I should put the jack stand!

I tried to place it at multiple places but as soon as I start rolling it up, the plastic bottom starts to squeak.

Does anyone know where to place the jack stand for the front wheels?

This is what i have :
Amazon.com: Ultra-Fab Products 48-979006 24" Ultra Scissor Jack: Automotive Amazon.com: Ultra-Fab Products 48-979006 24" Ultra Scissor Jack: Automotive

There is a plastic pad on each side. Two for the rear and two for the front if it's a 2015. It would be helpful if we knew what your car is.

Yeah it's a 2015 C300.
The plastic pad wouldn't crack?

Not so fast!

The jacking point is plastic but it's intended to be used with a specific type of jack pad, that's why there's a rectangular inset on it rather than being perfectly flat.

Because of this rectangular inset, your jack will most likely not be able to make proper contact with the jacking point. They sell this:

Amazon.com: Metal Jack Pad Adapter by BMS - 2000-Present Mercedes Benz Vehicles: Automotive Amazon.com: Metal Jack Pad Adapter by BMS - 2000-Present Mercedes Benz Vehicles: Automotive

I recommend getting this to be safe.

To add, I just used a block of 2x4, but this adapter is safer.

I use wooden blocks there with my two post lift and have never had a problem. To use that on my two post lift would also require four of them which equals 80 bucks.

If that is the MB OE jack then it would fit easily in the recess area for lifting. I have a similar jack for my 2012 GLK350 and have used it several times without any issue. My 2009 C300 has a different jack but it also has a recess area that I have used without issue as well.

Not being mean but did you check you owner's manual as there is a section on how to use the jack.

Also the picture you have in your original post doesn't seem to be the original jack but your most recent post picture looks OE.

Read your manual, use your OE jack and you should be good to go.

Yea I checked the manual but it didn't say much.
I got the jack from a friend who has a 2013 c class.
So maybe I am good to try it out.

Yea, if that's an OEM jack, then it will definitely fit in the jack point inset. You would not need any other pads or anything.

The jack pad is only for those of us without an OEM jack, such as a hydraulic floor jack.
