~10 times in the shop, Still loving it!
I guess I am lucky because I was able to get a Mercedes before my 24th birthday. Maybe I should’ve complained less…
My car was a March build, delivered in late April, 2015.
This baby has been in the shop for about 10 times.
Below is a list of issues.
1. Wind noise: Acoustic glasses installed. still a bit noisy but I will take it.
2. CRAZY Rattles from all windows: I put some magic fluffy tape on driver and passenger side windows (didn't have enough tape), now good. The fix was originally from a thread on a Chinese auto website. And i believe all the dealers in China are applying the tapes to 2015 model cars. While for 2016, they changed the tape to a fluffy one. (Tape is cheap, ~$4 for 4 doors.
)
3. Gas pumps shut off while fueling: it varies by gas stations. Dealers did not fix coz they said it's something wrong with the gas pump not the car.
4. Burmester speaker rattle/buzz: replaced driver side and mid console speaker, but not fixed.
5. Wiper chatter: changed wiper blade multiple times, cleaned windshield, adjust angles, changed wiper arms. and I personally tried everything I could. Not fixed. while one day, temp cools, it's quiet...it fixed itself. - DO NOT EVER APPLY RAINX ON YOUR WINDSHIELD!!!
Wind shield was authorized by MBUSA to get replaced. However, I didn't because it's quiet now. may change it in the future if the chatter comes back. This issue is killing me.
6. Wind shield fluid sprayer has a broken part on day 1.
7. AC whistling on "windows only" & "foot only" at max speed 7. NO FIX at the moment.
8. rear bumper misalignment: alright, I don't care about this one, i found it out after reading threads here.
9. Screeching brakes when temp is low (

Windows rattles - solution link.
Yes it was interesting. I did not find any solution on this forum that could last longer. Tried lubricant, won't work for a long time.
It's all in Chinese though.

Most cars in China had this rattles. Mine did the same but don't know why others here in the U.S. don't experience that much.

It's not a rattle so to speak, it's a chattering or creaking. I noted this on my rear doors recently. It's simply dry rubbers and some gummi pflege (rubber lube/softener) will sort this. Rather that than felt which will hold water and go mouldy.

Check the link I posted before for pics.
I bought them from China and my friend brought those here. But there's supposed to be some similar products here. Or if you know how to read Chinese, you can actually opt to ship to the U.S.
