Looks awesome! Did you do any H&R spacers as well?

I want to lower my car, but heard of squeaking noises with H&R??

No spacers - didnt think extra cost is worth it since using OEM 18s, figured may get them later if I get 19s or 20s.
No squeaking at all. Not any firmer than original springs but you do feel much more of the road thru the steering wheel which I like. The steering was way too light/numb.

Looks good!

What suspension did your car have to begin with...486 "Sport" suspension, or the softer 485?

Also, how much were the springs, and how much did it cost to install including alignment?

This is the non-sport model, so it has the "elegance for comfort" suspension.

Must be quite a change.

thats a pretty big drop for standard springs... I wonder how the US versions sit compared to the Chinese..I feel their are built with higher springs.. or sits higher here in China than in USA..

Right, they must account for the wider range of "variety" in road conditions in China, where there hasn't been the benefit of national or even provincial standards for road paving until fairly recent. Even then, you'll see some crazy stunts being pulled at various localities just because they can.

One of my most interesting automotive related memories was being driven up a mountain somewhere in southern China in a LS400 over a road "paved" with pond stones the size of grapefruits. At first the driver was hesitant, but at the behest of the government official we were traveling with, he proceeded with our off road adventure. Other than getting jostled around, that LS400 had no rattles, and we carried on a conversation like normal.

The days of high tire sidewalls.

Having had H&R springs on my W204 C300 4Matic, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a 4Matic Benz.

Your suspension will degrade at such a high rate that in less than 2 years you will need to change the whole suspension.

The choice is yours, but just a FYI to those that think about installing H&R springs.

Does Eibach make springs for W205 4matics?
I know the drop isn't as much as H&R and might make the stock shocks last longer?

Any thoughts?

No they don't.

But KW makes a coilover kit for the W205. We are not taking about the same price tag here at the purchasing time, but after 2 years the H&R springs will end up costing you a hell of a lot more.

I'm torn between KW and Bilstein. What would u recommend ? In china the 4matic doesn't come with air suspension just regular.

I've check KW Variant's website and they don't list a coilover kit for the W205, yet they've been promoting it. Have you seen it listed online with a price?

I didn't see it online but I called and asked for a quote. The set goes for $2800 plus tax and shipping.
