Finally!!
It is raining here in Northern CA and we finally had an opportunity to drive the car in the wet for the first time since we drove it home this past June. Wipers worked great (no skips or judder) and was surprised how quiet the car was plowing through some pretty good sized puddles. Tried out the fog light too (it worked:-). Have over 3000 miles on the car now and other then the original delivery issue of the out balance front left tire, it has been problem free. No appreciable wind noise (confirmed by my family members and other friends who have been in the car:-), starts, stops goes forward and reverse and all the other things you would expect. Fueling is a problem at certain stations (Costco) and still not thrilled with the Comand NAV Map (no contrast between background and secondary roads, and too small a font). The car has been up to Lake Tahoe, (altitude at Carson Pass 8500 ft), over to the Pacific coast averaging 29-34 mpg. Must have been a good day at Vance when this one was put together!

I'll get to use my wipers for the first time tonight on my way home. It's raining for the first time since I picked up my car a week ago.

It rained all the way home (had to wipe the car down immediately - can't have a dirty one week old car, right?), and they were smooth as can be, with no shudder at all. I was pleased.
