Airmatic failure

Not much noticeable but the gap - probably bad struts

Dealer has not called, hope the don't try to blame the links. I did not have time to swap

Yikes. Hopefully the links didn't have anything to do with it. Can't imagine the struts going bad already, probably a compressor.

Maybe that's why the dealer wants him to come and identify the problem

They can't see anything wrong either

Best I can describe it, it is like a subframe crack or control arm is about to break.

compare the first picture in the post with the one below. In the 1st picture the car is in sport+ mode before putting on flatbed.

In the flatbed it looks normal because they tie it down and force the suspension down.

I have experienced both. But not discarting and would be very happy if there is nothing wrong with it.

I don't think I understand this post, are we looking at a ride height issue, placement of Wheels in the Arches front to back what is the actual problem, is it noise when driving?

So it's basically a wild guess that Airmatic failed, this after installing aftermarket lowering links?

This worry is poorly explained. Airmatic failure is very noticeable with uneven ride height somewhere on the car. Down at one or another corner.

Yes, I am sorry I can't modify the title. One of the struts has a leak, front right - dealer replaced.

Sorry to see this. Maybe you should go home and hang low for a few days so nothing else happens to your cars......

Ouch! I did the same in my c250 estate a couple of months ago. Really nasty experience. I hit the poor creature fully broadside to the front of the car fortunately killing it. Have the shoulder in my freezer after a fellow motorist took the carcass away.......this being france it was not going to go to waste!

My bill inc tax was 820 euro. No painting was needed just replacement of the 3 grills, no plate and carrier, realignment of 1 headlamp unit and recalibration of the 360 camera after the grille replacement. In retrospect the car survived the impact amazingly well and i think slowed more than i realised with its collision protection system.

Not a good time for you hope your luck improves!
