My first post ^^
I take it you haven't been in or driven one with ILS. That's why you have such opinion.

I have tested both systems before order my new MB, I consider a minimal difference. I just missed the blue led start.
Normal LED: 1000EUR+
ILS: 1800EUR+
What justifies these 800EUR?

ILS has nothing to do with brightness. The I stands for Intelligent. It is capapble of automatically swichting on high beam but avoid blinding the other traffic by disabling the areas where that traffic is on the road. So i guess you did not read the description of ILS. And it's definetely worth the extra $'s

Yes I know that, was just my opinion :-)
In my case I tested both, and for me does not justify 800EUR, but its for me ofc.

Active LEDs get My wifes SLC 300 has them and love the auto high beam and corning feature.

My C300 has the standard LEDs. They do the job but every time I drive the wifes SLC i want the Active LEDS on my car. Just depends if you care about having all of the other items in the package. It takes the price up a few ticks thats for sure.

Yes it does have something to do with brightness. Besides the "intelligent" features, it has an extra LED in the outermost corner of each light. The result is a much much wider beam. And I'm not B.Sing. This comes from experience driving one, and...cutting open one
