Would someone be able to send me the .ipa file for the 'Mercedes-Benz Companion App' please?

I live in the UK and would like to see if it works over here

There is also a 'Mercedes Me' app that is currently only in Germany that I'd like a look at too if possible.

I find it frustrating to keep having to log-in via a web browser.

I can send you my ipa file but what you really need to do is create yourself a us Apple ID and then have someone over here "purchase" it for you. Ipa files
Are tied to the Apple ID so you will most likely need to authenticate as myself.

Thanks for letting me know - is this a new thing from Apple? I have been able to add apps in the past this way, but not tired it recently. My iphone is jailbroken, so this may offer a work-around.

let me know if it works just as is and if so I will add the ipa to the site for other users outside the US as well

As you predicted, it didn't work! However, I really appreciate you sending the app over to me.

I bit the bullet and spent the last half an hour setting up an itunes account for the USA and it now works like a champ.

I've just used 'save to home screen' on the iPhone. Gives me a pretty icon on the home screen. Almost as good as an app.

It will save your credentials for 30 days (you can save the password in keychain)
