My dealer has a couple of E Class loaners. If the S Class goes in for service and the only loaner available is one of the E Class I'll wait until they have a C300. There's literally nothing about the E...the goofy headlamps, the Nike swoosh in the rear quarters, the squared off plastic riddled interior, the ride-that I find remotely appealing. Mercedes really screwed the pooch on that car, and it show in the terrible sales figures and their decision to rush a face lift, which didn't help much.
The new C, on the other hand, has driven MB sales globally to record highs, and the C was Mercedes top performing model in US sales across the entire brand last year. As an aside, from the standpoint of common courtesy, you don't post in a models forum that the subject model is "a joke", unless the entire point of your existence on the forum is to be an antagonistic douche.
In which case, by all means, carry on...

Helping sales based a price yes, however buyers that walk into a MB dealership have not done their homework. Just because a car or product has driven sales of a company, does not persuade me to buy it but look at the product itself. In fact rather buy a used E 550 than a brand new C class.

2014 C class...yes a joke, 2015 and up...a little boring performance wise from the C300, but still a better car overall than the BMW 328i or A4.
Now the new 2016 BMW 340i...well that's a different story...

Yeah cocksaures thinks he's better than me (and anyone else who owns a C class). It seems that owning an E-Class is the greatest achievement in his life to put other people down.
