C300 is Gone
Left the C300 at the dealer last night and the wife's now in a 2016 GLC300. Hopefully the little gremlins stay at the dealership.

Without any context, this unnecessary new thread gives no useful information to a reader. Why don't you simply post this comment to the perfectly good thread (Collision Avoidance Gremlin) that you yourself established about your problems with your car? A number of readers have already subscribed to that thread. They might want to know the orphan information you have posted here.

I've only put about 10 miles on it but it feels to me pretty much the same. It sits slightly higher which does make it easier for entry and egress. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I didn't like the C300. I really enjoyed driving it. It just had an electrical gremlin that would pop it's head up every once in a while and MB couldn't locate it. I would also like to state that MBUSA was extremely fair and easy to communicate with. That is also one of the reasons that we stayed with MB. The only real diff. that jumps right out is that the GLC has a 9 speed tranny.

I'll bet you'll really like the 9 speed transmission in the GLC over the 7 speed in the C300. The GLC shifts much smoother than the C300 (not that my C300 shifts badly). When I drive the GLC, I don't notice any difference in acceleration (other than it is smoother feeling).

The best way I can describe it, is you definitely feel the transition from 1st to 2nd gear on the C300 Sport. It's not a jerk or anything, but I can feel it transition. On the GLC300, it's virtually seamless. You just get acceleration, without the sense it's changing gears. I think the 9 speed transition is a nice accomplishment. I wonder why it came on the 2016 GLC but not the 2016 C, when the engines are pretty much identical, save the transmission?
