Hey guys i've been reading though these threads for months now decided to register. pretty much i bought a new c400 had every option, like 8 months ago and it kept misfiring about every 3k miles finally at 12k miles mercedes worked out a deal and got me in a new c450 about 2 months ago with every option but parktronic which i never used in my 400, ill includ a pic of my 400 and 450

thanks! does anyone know where i can get a rear star badge in black? my oem one is cracked and i can only find chrome ones online

Plastidip it. Tape a square around the emblem. Mask off around the square to avoid overspray. Lay on 4 or 5 coats of Plastidip, about twenty minutes between coats. Before the last coat dries, peel the square off and you'll get perfect clean edges on just the emblem.

mine is currently plasti dipped but like i said the badge is cracked so since i need to order a new one anyways i wanted to see if i could just order a black one but since i cant find any i guess ill just get an oem one and do plasti dip again but thanks!

How does your emblem get cracked? You reversed into something?

i was getting the rear chrome bar painted on a super nice day and by the time i got back it randomly got soo windy the tape and stuff got caught between the badge and pulled on it
