C450 wheels & options
I'm looking at two cars, they are almost the same except for the biggest difference between them being the wheels. Here are their specs:
Car 1:
Car 2:
In your opinion, which one is the better option? I wanted the sporty looks, so I was thinking the Split 5-Spoke, but it's the titanium one and not the black one. The first car though it has the elegant multi-spoke it is black which looks aesthetically better I think. I haven't seen either in person as they are in dealerships in the middle of nowhere and I have to choose one to have it be brought over to my local dealership. Until I get pictures, I don't know but judging from the options and the wheels which would you pick? Also, I might wrap the car black but I'm not sure.
Car 1:
- Polar White
- Cranberry Red Leather
- Ext. Carbon Fiber Package
- Carbon Fiber Trim
- Lighting Package
- Multimedia Package
- Hands-Free Package
- Panorama Sunroof
- Heads-Up Display
- Driver Assistance Package
- 19" AMG Multi-Spoke (Black)
Car 2:
- Designo Diamond White Metallic
- Cranberry Red Leather
- Illuminated Star
- Blind Spot Assist
- Lighting Package
- Multimedia Package
- Hands-Free Package
- Panorama Sunroof
- Heads-Up Display
- 19" AMG Split 5-Spoke Wheel - Titanium

True, I am spending around the low 70s for a car and it's understandable to want the kinds of features the DA offers. Do you think the car still looks sporty with the black multi-spokes? I know it's subjective but I'm not sure!!

i like the 18" rims (style) better. that' just me.
to me, stock rims is not that important.
i probably slap some aftermarket rims on it in 1 or 2 years.
i like aftermarket rims with lips and chrome.
i just love chrome, i like shiny stuffs. haha
something like this, chrome with lip.

Based on personal experience I would drive out to see the first one regardless of distance, then reject it, then have the 2nd one brought in and decide against that one too. Long story.
Exterior color is a biggie. If you're thinking you might lease a $70k car and wrap it black (a risk on a lease, sometimes a wrap leaves you with tiny cut marks in the clearcoat when you unwrap) and you want a specific wheel package, just surrender and order a car. Get everything you want and nothing you don't. The wait sucks but I think you'd be happier over the lease term.

I almost got the black multi spoke but I saw a dirty c450 on the lot that had the black multi spoke and they look terrible when dirty.. The black paint on the rims is glossy so when it's dirty from brake dust you can really see it.. I chose the titanium 5 spoke and I love them.. Easy to clean and when they are dirty you can barely see the brake dust..here's a pic

I have a black C450 break (S205). For the moment i drive the 18" wheels with winter tyres, but from start april 'm going to change to my summer setup.
Tyres Michelin Pilot Super Sport, and these wheels.

Beautiful looking S205 !!! Can't wait to see the new C300d 4Matic wagon that will soon be coming to Canada.

Thanks for you guys' opinions. It was really helpful. I did get some pictures on the multi-spoke C450 and I think I was sold because they look so sharp and the contrast the Polar White makes on the Exterior Carbon Fiber parts like the spoiler are just beautiful. Also the Driver Assistance package I think ends up being a big plus over the other one's Illuminated Star. Here are some pics:
Oh, and I'm also thinking on keeping the car white. The white/red combo really grew on me and I might just wrap the lower end of the front bumper and rear diffuser/exhaust black or carbon fiber, similar to the Night package which this car lacks. I think it would add well to the c/f parts already on the exterior
