Service indicator reset

Hi, I know there's a sticky for this thread, but I tried the steps described and it didn't work. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried and it worked for them? is it supposed to work for all versions of w205? Mine is a U.S. built with sport package.

It works on all 2015 C300 and C400 models. Follow the instructions precisely.

I did. I held down both the answer call and hang up button, then pushed ok. All it did was taking me to the trip menu like how many miles, etc

Where does it says to held down answer call and hang up button, then push ok?? Hold down 'accept call' & 'Ok' buttons; here are the directions again and I confirmed that it works again:

Sit in the car and close the door.
Turn the ignition to position 1.
Get the instrument cluster to the screen where the odometer is displayed.
Press the left button once to highlight "trip".
Press and hold the "accept call" button.
While holding the "accept call" button press and hold the "OK" button.
After several seconds the service menu should come up.
Scroll to Assyst.
At this point it should be self explanatory... full service, yes, confirm...
Back out or cycle the ignition to exit the service menu

Yeah it's just the answer button, then ok, in a quick succession. If you do it right you don't see the trip meter reset screen, nothing will happen for a few seconds, then it will pop you into the service menu.

believe me, I tried a hundred times. Each time it'd take me into Trip's menu. There's a youtube video in which the guy was pressing both Accept and Hangup button. That's why I asked. Does not having Command matter?

You have the key in the right position right? Not fully on?

Yep. Believe me. I tried all different combinations. Position 1. Position 2. Pickup button. Hangup button. Both pickup & hangup buttons.
