Questions to canadian C450 owners

I'm sorry I mistyped. So is it like our southern neighbors where they check your credit and they can lower the interest rate/money factor if you qualify? I never thought we had that here.

LogicDSS's comments and the above-posted link seem to contradict your argument. LogicDSS is in Canada and got them to reduce the rate... Toronto dealers are offering 1% rate reductions on lease and finance - that is coming from somewhere...

Use Carcostcanada and take a look at the available monthly incentives and promotional lease rates. Costs money but gives you info on invoice pricing and what's available in terms of factory incentives.
And to be clear (cause maybe I wasn't before), I am not saying that interest rates never change and are never discounted, only that MB finance sets lease/finance rates monthly, doesn't haggle, and this is not something the dealer can move on. Which is different than in the US where everyone seems to haggle about money factor.

I am in Canada and got 2.5% rate for 39 months lease back in December when I got my car. Back then, there was no corporate incentive or rebate on the rates.
So, how do you explain this if rates are not negotiable like you claim?

Not sure. You coming off a different MB? They typically have loyalty rate reductions

1.4% is typical for loyalty discount.
Also, lease rate is the same but residual is adjusted. So payment stayed pretty much the same as a couple months back.
I wonder if the economy get crappier, we are going to see 0% finance or 1.9% lease for C450.

I doubt we will see such low rates for the 450, at least until the 2017s are in lots, but might be more likely with the 300s if they have more inventory than looks good in their projections.

Yeah, residual seems to fall pretty steady as the year goes on. I got my 450 in October and the residual on 39 months was 68 or 69% for the low mileage option (I drive around 6-7,000km per year). I understand it's now down to 62ish.
