C450 Delivery Times
For those of you who ordered a C450, could you please post the date that you ordered your vehicle and the date that it was ready for pickup? I'm curious if the build time is trending up or down and what average wait time for special orders has been.

Someone in CA just posted his 12/15 order came in yesterday. my 12/4 order came in on 1/22. My 1/27 order is due mid April, so a couple of weeks longer than my original order.
Some of it has to do with allocation and what the dealer has in process already, so I'm not sure I would read too much into a couple of weeks here or there either way.

My dealer said my 12/4-1/22 order had an estimated production date of 1/22 but called on 1/18 or 1/19 and said that production date was still listed as 1/22 but it was in progress on 1/15. I'm in Virginia, so I'm not completely across the country from the factory or anything like that.
That seemed to be on the shorter side of the builds, as the other order was 11 days later than mine, but came in a full 30 days later than mine, although to CA, so further from the plant. I think that is more typical timeline.

My C450 was ordered Jan 09th and is expected to be built late March and delivered in April. I'm going to call my sales guy when middle of March for an update.

We ordered ours 1/27. Expected build date was given as 4/16 2nd decade. I think this translates to mid-April production date. Dealer said to expect delivery by beginning of May. I'm hoping it will be sooner.

That's exactly in-line with my second order. I'm closer to the plant, I expect delivery sooner. Not sure what shipping status is like to Portland, but I would think late April is a good possibility.

Ours has all the packages and and most of the options except the rear window shades and the ones I listed above. MSRP on it is $67,130.

Wow! That's a ridiculous delay. MY2017 might be ready by the time they build it.
Can cars be traded between dealerships in different countries within the Eurozone? There should be a similar one somewhere on the continent.

So we just received notice that the car has been accepted by the carrier (train) and is en route. The dealer estimates 2 weeks until it delivers to the dealership. This seems like a hell of a long wait considering freight runs direct to the BP Portland Oregon rail yard.
I don't suppose anyone else has info regarding delivery times for the slow train from Vance?

We were originally told 1st week of May. So far spot on with the estimate. I suspect that the MBUSA production schedule is a bit more reliable than the US rail freight schedule.

Ordered March 5, build scheduled for first decade of May, delivery by June 24 (WTF! 5-6 weeks to go from Alabama to Ontario?)). Dealer says delivery date is "worst case scenario" and it will likely come within 3 weeks after the build. So hopefully, first week of June.
