C450 stay in the mode you left it for 4 hours?
As mentioned in this review of the C450 at 9:30, the car should keep the drive mode for 4 hours after I leave the car, as well as the starting exhaust note if it's left in S+, which is pretty nice. But it seems that after I open the door the mode will be back to comfort? Is this a Canada only thing or it can be programmed by the dealer? It's kinda suck that every time I leave the car I'll need to switch to the mode I want.

The Euro builds do this, US builds do not. If you tap the start button twice to activate electronics, change it to Sport+, then fire it up...it will start with the rumble you want. Otherwise, you're SOL as the US builds don't hold their mode for 4 hours like originally stated (guessing the reviewer was going off of literature that said it would and wasn't able to/didn't think to verify it before posting the video review).
Hope this helps.

You need Vediamo and a multiplexer to change it, but yes - the option is configurable in one of the control units (I've come across this parameter whilst snooping, but forget now which module it was).

And more importantly price in us are at least 20% lower and it cannot be explained by cost of living

Anyone using Carly for Mercedes? Been using it on a Z4 and Mini Cooper to change a slew of setting, clear codes, etc. Not sure how robust it is for Mercs.

The folks who run Carly were very responsive to user requests on the BMW side. Maybe if a handful of folks shoot them a note, they'd get serious about working on the 205. Really nice stuff they open up on the Z and Mini front.

Actually, prices in the US are not 20% lower, and the lower prices you see are because of Taxes. Prices you see in other countries include the vehicle and sales taxes, whereas the price you see quoted in the US do not include taxes.
