Fugly Non Run Flats

So not only are they ugly, apparently I'm going to have them for a very long time. Part of the aesthetic issue is also the reason they ride so beautifully. The sidewall has an extra convexity to it, which makes it a little more compliant. It also creates a substantial curb protection element. The protection bead is a good half inch tall.
On the road, huge difference. Ride is silky, and while you still hear the car's suspension compensating for road imperfections ( like the thump-THUMP over railroad tracks) you don't feel them nearly as much. Handling still feels light and tight like before. If I'm feeling spunky I'll lower AirMatic to Sport, which tightens things up a good bit. So, really not digging the look, but I'll give them awhile to see if they grow on me. If not, I'll have to take the hit and get a set of MP SS instead.
Price is a bargain:

Don't forget a seal and fill kit. I got this one:

After 5500 miles I like the ride, lack of noise and traction.
Those Goodrich tires ARE fugly I must say.

Glad I opted for full winters and kept my Pirelli P Zero summers

hard to say until you look at them in real life.
