Question Exhaust systems for C450

I love the tone of the oem exhaust of C450 AMG but I am not that satisfy with the volume... Therefore I am planning to buy a new exhaust system for the car, something that everyone can hear it and thinks that it's cool but not stupidly loud that actually hurt our ears. I looked up and found the AWE tuning track Edition exhaust for C450 and I pretty much liked it and want to know is there more brands that makes exhaust systems for C450? Can you guys list the brands and model that will fit the C450? Thank you in advance!!

One more question: Will it void my factory warranty?

If it were me, I'd wait for the Brabus to release. The AWE sounds pretty solid, though.

I want to hear a 450/43 with a cat back and downpipes!

C450 muffler Delete

Here is my car with a $100 muffler delete. I think it sounds great, but has a bit of a drone. I ordered the AWE Touring exhaust that should be here in the next week. There will be a full review on c450amg.com as soon as it arrives and is installed.

Why did you chose the AWE touring exhaust instead of the track ones? What are their differences?

The touring exhaust has a system similar to resonators that is supposed to cancel out the drone. We will also be reviewing the track edition on the site as well, so stay tuned

The track edition is nothing more than a resonator/muffler delete. Def get the touring to take advantage of AWE's full exhaust technology

At max exhaust, do we know how the Track and Touring vary in terms of loudness and sound (i.e. growl)?

I understand that the Touring removes the drone that drives some people nuts, but not sure if it provides as much "pop" as the Track.

I am in the process of making custom downpipes with a local performance shop here. We will also remove the cats. We are expecting the sound to be much nicer and louder.

After this, we will need to re-write the tune to the new setup and run it on dyno.

I should be done in a couple of weeks and will post pictures and videos.

You can't remove the cats anywhere in the US that has emissions testing. Well, you can remove them but you will fail and will be unable to register the vehicle.

Must be different in CND which is surprising because I thought you guys had tighter air quality and environmental regs than the US.

In Quebec, there are no emissions tests required like in the states. The laws may be stricter, but there is no enforcement.

We are toying with the idea of bringing 4 different c450s with 4 different exhausts to sema this year while there we would have group meet ups if this is somethings that people would be interested in.

The Brabus system is stupidly expensive. I can't imagine how much better it can sound to warrant the steep price over the AWE

Dear P....,

We offer this BRABUS C450 Valve Controlled Exhaust System for $5,595.00 and the BRABUS Rear Diffusor for $1,195.00.

Shipping to Canada would be $300.00 via UPS Standard.

This exhaust is in the final stages of production, I will check with Germany when they are expecting these in stock, thank you.

Sincerely,

Bear in mind that the Brabus exhaust system will only work with their rear diffuser. For those interested, the Brabus power upgrade (+43hp) will set you back $2,795. Brabus knows Mercedes, but they are not cheap!!

I am actually going to a local shop here in chicago next week as well to get a quote for custom catless downpipes. If you dont mind me asking, how much did they quote you for the job?

The C43 sedan configurator is now up on the UK site. There's an option for AMG performance exhaust. I wonder if it is the same exhaust that is standard on the US/Canadian models, or could it be an exhaust upgrade now being offered by AMG?

I don't have a price yet. It's a bundle job meaning downpipes + catless + modify the chip tuning to new setup + dyno for 2 hours. They estimated everything under 2k$.
