I've been using 3m tints on all my cars thus far. some cars I've used the ghetto $120 tints.
For this car I decided to get something better. I've read many good reviews about Formula 1.
It's funny, in all of NY, there's only 1 authorized dealer. Must be rare I thought.
Then I found out why.........these tints ain't cheap. cost me twice of 3m tints.
it's formula 1 pinnacle 35% all around. no windshield.
was it worth the $400 bones I paid for?
i'll let you guys decide ^^
PS: btw, I would 100% recommend this guy if you happen to be in NY. the place it's called "the art of tint". I've dealt with Tom ( I think he the owner). Very knowledgable guy, very professional. They even hand washed my car, LOL.
Have used the F1 on last 4 cars, its critical in Queensland.. the heat rejection was my main consideration closely followed by the warranty.. longest car i had it on was 5 years and it was as good as new after that...
Formula 1 ceramic tint @ 20% is THE perfect tint. I put it in all my car. Make sure you get the ceramic, it's color stable and never changes like cheaper dye based tints. Also Formula 1 ceramic has the highest infrared / heat rejection %(which is what really matters at the end of the day. Dark color is not what blocks he heat, it's he heat rejection because the ting is able to block key wave lengths of infrared from entering the cabin (aka heat).
