I have a 2015 C300 and I play videos while in motion with no problem. I got the DVD here to unlock that ability: https://www.dvdinmotion.com/mercedes-benz

thank you very much I just wanted to confirm. So if I am hooked up using usb and watching Netflix it will play on car while I drive. And one more thing if I am playing a music video from let says Apple Music will it show on the screens while I drive. I contacted the website they told me it will let me too all the functions you can do while in park but in motion but I don’t think u can watch videos like the way I am saying so just trying make sure it works before I buy. Was think of this or to upgrade to the android screen.

I really don't know what you are talking about. I have all my video STORED on the USB or SD card, and they play fine. It sounds like you are talking about streaming video. I have no idea if that works even when parked. Upgrade to Android? How are you going to do that? If you are talking about one of those half-baked Chinese aftermarket screens - I would not do that. Lots of money and nothing but headaches.

I'm not sure why you would want to go to all the trouble of streaming. Between my USB and SD I have 900 music videos stored. It really works well, and I don't have to fiddle and hook up my phone every time I get in the car.

video files have to be smaller than 720p
Seems that whatever file format I throw at it only audio plays, not video. Not even in Park.
I see video setting under options but it's grey out and not delectable.
Manual is useless
Anyone got idea or a thread link on this?
Not that I will use it much but delivery guy said you are supposed to able to watch videos.

What year is your car? I have a 2015. What version of Comand do you have? Do you have the upgraded version? I have been playing videos in my car (even when driving) for almost ten years from the USB port and the SD Card slot. You don't really need to go to video menu. Just put the video files (720p) on a thumb drive and plug it in. Make sure you don't put the files in the root directory, put them in a subdirectory like \videos\. Then just select them from the media sources on the multifunction display.
