I just got a 16 c300 with sport package, P1, and blind spot assist. Comparing it side by side to my brothers that is completely base, I noticed an odd difference in the windshield.

His car has something mine doesn't? Anyone know the difference?

Isn't the triangle for the Intelligent LED system so it can calculate when to turn on high beam and block out traffic in front of you and vehicles traveling in the other direction to block out?

As far as ik know the stereo camera is part of the Driver Assist package. In the Netherlands this contains:
1. Adaptive cruise control
2. Steering assistant
3. Lane departure warning
4. Blind spot assistant
5. Cross traffic assistant

I know the camera assists no.1 and no.5 above.
Are you sure that the car of your brother is a base model?

Btw. The ILS does not need the stereo camera. My colleage has no drivers assist but has ILS and he has only one camera.

I don't have the ILS or DA package but I do have one triangle and the one next to it is for rain sensing wiper blades. i think its for the collision prevention assist that comes standard on a lot of 2016's

The CPA+ sensor is built into the front bumper.

The single triangle at the top of the windscreen is the ILS sensor.

Lane keeping aids use a dual stereoscopic camera setup (two triangles).

I have two triangles but no assistance packages other than park assist . I do have ILS.
