That's strange as the description of the item on the website list C class as one of the compatible cars.
I got a response back from the technical support and they indicated that it should work on my car. I took the chance and just ordered it. I'll let everyone know how it goes once i have it installed. Hopefully it will work and also take care of the video/audio delay.

Which car model and manufacturer year do you have?
But I queried directly Caraudio-Systems, as they seem to manufacture it instead of being resellers, let's hope that they can tell whether it works. From my point of view I don't see the reason why not.
i finally got around to installing it! hardest part was figuring out the best way to run the wires. Thanks to all the info here, it helped a lot. Does anyone know how to change the screen resolution? I have the 8.4 inch OEM navi screen before. When I goto the usb-car icon the OEM screen shows up on the right side with a generic car picture on the left. The OEM screen is zoomed in a lot thus making the a lot of the menus unreadble. I tried to goto the car info icon and change the parameters for the display but the only options are 1,2,3,4,5. None of them fixes the problem. Is there somewhere else I need to go? thannks!
Update on the aux-in. So I ordered that OBD activation and plugged it in. Within a few seconds the unit restarted and the Aux-in menu appeared. Due to timing I did not connect the cables in the back the HU yet. Will do it tomorrow and report back. Btw I have a 2018 GLC43 but from what i've been reading, the audio and navi portions are exactly the same as the w205 which is why ive been coming here for more info.

Do you have sound delay issues?
What screen did you buy?
I didn't choose this one, cause the stock car system display is stretch to the entire screen, and it looks awfulll. IMO, the integration between stock system and Android is better with our Android 7 unit (actually Android 6, despite of what is displayedin settings menu).

Yes, i think the same. It looks much better in the android 7 units.
Just thinking if the 4GB RAM won't make the difference...

I received the USB adapter and I can confirm that it fixes the latency issue between video and audio I've had with the Bluetooth adapter.
However, still have the issue with the unit bluetooth phone. The people I call still ear an echo of their voice.
I thought the problem was related to the Bluetooth adapter latency, it finally appears it isn't.
I'm curious to know if using AUX solves this problem.
hello,
I have the first one (BT adapter).
and I want to try the second one (usb).
Hi,
With the usb adapter you have to connect your phone in usb socket? How does that work.
Hi just received today the package, and I'm getting ready to avance to the installation.
But I don't understand this usb adapter. Is for what?
The unit has to be connected to the car so the audio from the unit goes out throught the car speaker.
For that, you have a bt adapter (so you connect the unit to the BT of the car) or a USB adapter (so you plug the USB adapter to one of the usb port under the central armrest.)

So I connect this usb adapter to one of the usb ports in arm rest?
And doing so I resolve the sound delay?
Thanks!

Thats correct,The USB adapter should be connected to one of the USB port in the armrest.
You can try to download an app called KODI, here you can adjust the delay of sound in videos. KODI

But conecticon via usb solves or not the delay?
If we still need to use Kodi to sync the videos with the sound, the connection doesn't solves anything...
Sorry but imI not getting it! ☹️

Yes. I got that. 😁
But then sentralfyr said to use Kodi... That's what puzzles me.
If there's no lag we don't need to fix it!
Thank you all.
Next weekend I will see... 😁
ok i finally got around to connecting the aux to the screen. Happy to report everything worked. No lag whatsover. Also to note that the audio quality from the aux is way better than from the BT module. Before when i'm playing music using the BT module the volume would be somehwat low. Had to try to find some balance b/w the volume from the screen and volume from the HU. But since our HU doesnt have a volume level status it was hard to gauge how far it was turned up. Will do more testing in the days to come.
i am looking to order the usb carplay dongle. There's so many diff ones on aliexpress with a range of prices. Do the dongles work for ios12? Can someone give me a rundown of how it works and if it works well? Im understanding that you have to download the carplay app from the playstore first? I would like the latest carplay version for IOS12 if possible. Thanks!
