Ok so I bought the car for my wife last week, long story short yes I know its probably less of a pain in the *** to buy MM package car but the car she liked had the Designo letter package and the many other features that she liked also we couldnt find another car like it in the South East region...

With that out of the way I hate the little 7.0 screen, I was searching and found a new screen online (the 8.4 screen) and bought it, so far so good right... I got it install yesterday but the image on the screen is 800x480 and not 960x540.

First question how do I get to the Engineering mode ? may be I can access the HU display settings there ?

Second is there a software update that can may be fix and readjust the screen size ?

Third I see lots of interface comparable boxes with the NTG5 and the Non NTG5 may be it will give me a resize-able image ?

ah wow so i guess its confirmed now.

i was thinking of doing this, but someone had commented on my thread (few months back) that it might not scale the UI up. the non comand UI is made for 800x480 so thats probably why its not taking up more space. some other guys here bought that 10.25" after market screen and i'm guessing that has some software to do scaling so maybe thats a better option?

i think you need to change the control unit (where the guts of the system are) out as well, not just the screen

Cost € 359.- not very cheap...
Personally I don't like Audio 20 system (very slow, not so smart,...) and I'm thinking to replace it with another MM system...
