So has anyone seen a C43 SEDAN for sale in the USA yet?

When I was car shopping the beginning of this year, I was looking at 2015 GLA45 leftovers. It was going on March and the 16s still weren't out. I figured I could steal a 15 but was finding dealers weren't backing down on pricing. I had one guy tell me flat out, "why would i sell you this car cheap if I don't have anything else coming in to sell".
When the c450s started coming out last November, the mbusa site was still showing the c400 configurator.
Anyway, don't forget about hurricane Hermine raging up the East coast. Make sure your cars are parked far from trees and away from the water. . . Unless of course you are paid up on your insurance and are looking to trade up. I'm talking to you gungaslow. Why take a bath on the trade in, when you can let your car take a bath for you?

Same thing happened with release of GLC. It was held up due to EPA even though it had been released in EU. Cars sat in port. The C43 is considered a new vehicle. C43 sedans are sitting in Vance. Coupes are sitting in port. Cannot buy a diesel Benz in US for 17 even though engines are the same.

It will be released when it is released! MB will release cars based on their timeline and if the Feds are involved, they will wait until they say so. You will get your car. You will just have to be patient.

Blame VW for this supposed delay. Many MB launches have been held up or delayed lately thanks to the EPA being strict as ****.

That's why I got a C450 last week at a steal. As I heard, they will hike the insurance rates for the now "AMG" designated model. I don't really care for the extra 2 gears, the car is still a beast. Get the '16 C450's while they are still on the lot.

I believe the C450 already had the hike too, so there's no difference to insurance costs. Not 100% certain on that, but that is the conclusion that was come to previously.

I did a quote on a 2016 C450 and a 2017 C43 on my Geico insurance. C43 came out to be even cheaper.

My car insurance only increased $35 per year stepping up to the C450 from a 2015 C300 Sport.

my sales guy, has either completely messed up and not put my order in or i'm at the end of a very long queue of people buying C43s (i just cant imagine this being true).
does anyone know approximately how long it would take for a car ordered today , to arrive in california (for a sedan). i cant imagine this taking more than 2 months right?

Difficult question to answer but the two biggest factors are:
Does the dealer have a 43 order that can be modified for you?
If so when is this 43 scheduled to be produced?

i am ok with it since i didn't need a car immediately (though the wait will definitely , suck). maybe there will be some year end incentives so it could be a good thing i suppose financially

I heard from my dealer again today and he said that it definitely won't be till January because there are to many left over c450 in the USA and Mercedes wants to release the coupes and sedans at the same time for marketing purposes. Wtf

If I was a dealership with no C450s (such as the one I am buying mine from) what incentive would I have as a franchised dealership to not sell a C43.
Its like if I had a mcdonalds, and I couldn't sell filet o fishes, because the mcdonalds across town stockpiled fish patties and I dont have any
