So has anyone seen a C43 SEDAN for sale in the USA yet?

When I checked with "another dealer", I checked C43s sedan. They responded "C43s", but I would think it's across the board of all C43s in the US market.

He got back to me, said it's not an orderable option for me (my build is still open for changes) on my Coupe. Must be a Sedan only thing?

My sedan didn't have that option in June when I ordered it.. I wonder if it's standard as other people mentioned Since there is no price associated with it in the previous build? Maybe it's included in the p02 and up package for the sedan?

Acoustic glass is a standard option. So it's not selectable. After you place the order, it should show up as a standard option from the build sheet (i think).
Mine sedan has P04 but I really don't think it has anything to do with the glass. It's just the build date.

Mine did not have it as standard. My dealer now will talk to MB to retrofit it from my current c300 that has the acoustic glass.
To me, for the same price, other people (most people) are getting the acoustic glass, it's just unfair.

I remember seeing 851 acoustic glass maybe 3 months ago, before I ordered the car. But I don't remember where I saw it. Maybe DOG, but it's not there anymore from several recent DOGs.

These forums are great for speculation, spit balling ideas, and showing off. Beyond that, they can be a helpful way of searching for resources. But no matter how many ways you ask the same questions, sometimes you aren't going to get the answer you're looking for.
The acoustic glass seemed like it was a quick fix for 2016 c450 models because the 2015s were getting complaints about wind noise. I am sure there's a good reason why MBUSA decided to leave it out of the 2017s. But I have no farking clue why. Spite?

The acoustic glass has been on and off the W205 twice now as far as I can tell -- and not in control of the customer (i.e., not orderable or changeable). Someone posted somewhere on this board that MB upgraded some seals and went away from the acoustic glass, perhaps that didn't work as well, or they had a shortage of the new seals, which could be why some new orders have it and some don't.

Yea it has been on and off and now they decided to put them back on. Maybe even better with the new window seals.

my insruance on the C450 was about the same as my older C300, so I don't think there was much of a hike.. for me about 200$ and I figured for a brand new car with a higher value and displacement, it wasn't much.

I double checked all the build sheets I have (3 in total) and the acoustic glass is in all of them. The build dates are also scattered so I really think its standard if anyone is still worried about that.
