boost gauge in C450?
Hey guys,
Do any of you owners of C450's have the boost gauge with oil/temp in the driver dashboard screen? I saw it in a video but dont seem to have this on my vehicle.

no, theres a display on the screen thats next to the speedometer that displays Boost gauge, temperature of oil and engine temp that I saw in a few youtube vids of C450 owners. I have a C450 and don't have this gauge and I'm wondering if its a software update?

Took delivery of a C43 today and I have the boost and temp gauges under a menu labeled "AMG". Also has a G-Meter that shows the G-Forces and a Lap Timer in the same menu. Explanation of functions is on p. 223 of the manual.

Both are not true indicators of the engine's performance. I think I read in the manual (or somewhere else) that the gauges run according to the RPMs, not the actual HP or actual boost pressure. The numbers are preset based on the RPMs i.e. the RPMs are dialed in by the computer to yield preset results (Boost, HP, etc).
