COMAND Update
My dealer just updated the COMAND software on my 2016 C300 (iPhone COmpanion now works). I've noticed some differences in the COMAND display and would like to know if this is normal. Prior to the update the time always appeared in the upper left of the COMAND screen display now the time no longer appears. Was wondering if this is normal. Do others with late 2016 or 2017 models have the time displayed?

I actually had my Audio 20 updated last week and I noticed the opposite. Time did not show before on my screen at all (the reasoning was that I have the analog clock). But after the update, time is always there in the upper left.

I think if you take it to the dealership and ask for the Audio 20 update (might have to say it freezes on you every now and then) the time will show up. My update was performed last week so I'm guessing it's a relatively new software version.

Mercedes-Benz C300 (2016), Mercedes-Benz GLC300 (2017)
I have a 2016 C300 and the time does not appear in the upper left. I just picked up my 2017 GLC300 this past weekend and it does have the time displayed. The software version on the C is dated 2015, while on the GLC it noted as 2016/2017. I have not had the chance yet to check other differences, but I've noticed 2 things:
1) The clock in the upper left on the newer software
2) The map colors are a bit different

When they do the map update, does that also update the overall system as well (i.e. - are there other benefits)?
And, how long does the update take? I am wondering if it is worth doing now or waiting 3-4 months until my next service.
