Send2benz from website

I sent a destination location from the send2benz website to the car . Do I have to start the car and turn on the nav before downloading by pushing the i button?

The first time I tried it by turning on posn 1 , then pressing the i button, it didn't work and I got the operator instead.

What is the actual procedure?

How long does MB server keep the addresses before download? for example can I send it in the evening and not download till the next day?

Tks

You'd connect via the concierge channel (i icon). After the call connects you'll see a prompt on COMAND asking if you want to download the destination to navi. It'll stay in there until you download it.

Interesting. I have only used the app function to send a destination. When I started the car and switched to navi the system asked if I wanted to use the destination. This was on a 2014 SLK350. Have not tried it on my C43.

In my S it was the i button. I'm not sure I've tried it in the C yet.

I use the Send2Benz app on my iPhone. When I start the car, I get a notice that a new destination is available and it's stored in my destinations. Very simple, and very reliable. It's much easier than entering a new destination in the car.

I will try it today . I also read that the destination will be kept in MB servers for 4 days .
