Solutions for some of these rattles and creaks?
On the dash speaker grille, just pry up an edge and lift up to unclip it and remove it. Then run little pieces of foam tape around the perimeter of the underside between the clips. Pop it back on.
Stuff foam into the following seams. Stop adding foam when you can grab the part, shake it and it doesn't budge or creak:
Over the tops of both outboard ac vents.
Between the gauge binnacle and dash top arch.
Between the COMAND screen and dash where the two meet.
On the door trim, along the thin upper seam between the trim panel and the top of the door panel.
On the underside of the door trim between the LED light strips and the main panel.
It took me about 30 minutes to do all of it. It won't be "pretty" from the standpoint that the foam tape, once the adhesive is exposed, is going to want to bunch up and roll in on itself as you work it into the seams. You won't see it as it'll disappear into the seams once you've forced it in deep enough with the knife, but if you're obsessive about that kind of thing the alternative would be to disassemble the dash and doors and lay the foam in nice and neat. Me, I just wanted the f'ing creaks to stop, because each time I hear one in my new $60,000 Benz a little piece of my soul dies.

In the crowded car market that exists today, one would think Mercedes would work tirelessly to resolve these issues and the other annoyances (such as apple car play and 3g internet) that most non-luxury cars already offer. Instead, like most companies today, they focus on short term financial success. This type of management destroys the brand as it becomes lost in a sea of “just averageâ€. The corporate management only cares about today since they’ll just move on anyway, the minute things head downward.
I’ve had my car back to the dealership twice for rattles and noise. Now, the sunroof, dash, and comand all still rattle. The headliner makes noise and the colder it is the louder it gets. The dealer claims the noise is normal and they don’t hear what I’m complaining about.
I haven’t given up on the brand but I can’t wait until my lease is up. Compared to my W204, I’m very disappointed with the noise.
My dealer has ordered a new center console for me that they will be installing in a week or two, so that should hopefully help with the rattles from the front center, but overall HUGE improvement after spraying a lot of that lube on the door rubbers. I'm also considering buying felt tape and putting it on the car frame where the doors meet the body. I think this will help too.
Definitely recommend trying to lube up your rubber - no pun intended.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
No noise with the glass vented or open, and none with the shade closed. Assuming it's something in the shade mechanism rattling & not glass/rails.
Will have them check it out when I schedule an appt to have the front end looked at (sounds like a wheel bearing issue there).
After doing a bit of research, found a permanent fix on the BMW forums using 3M teflon squeak reduction tape (that's actually what its called...) and thought I'd give it a try:
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1210175
I sourced two rolls of the genuine 3M tape from Napa (MMM 06356) which, apart from being significantly cheaper than the dealership, was also 1" in width - this width actually fits perfectly in the upper door channel and covers any area where the door seal and flocking make contact with body.
I also applied Mercedes Sliding Compound Lubrication Oil (A0009893660, which I believe is Krytox 105) to all the sunroof rubber seals, and the parts of the door seals that contact the tape.
Result - glorious silence (...except for a glovebox rattle that I can now hear...! Will be giving pcdsl's fix a shot next).
Hope this helps...
Am now getting some mild creaks from the sunroof over uneven pavement (body flex) that I am going to have addressed as well.
I have a loud creaking from the back, passenger side, when I hit bumps. Not sure if it's inside the door panel or rear speaker deck trim or loose seat.
Anyone had this one?
Unfortunately, I can't drive and locate the noise at the same time and my friends suck.
I did this with my F150 when the pano roof had some hard to pinpoint rattles.
My problem is that they are all temperature-sensitive. At any given temp, only some of them talk. I've given up ever getting a dealer to fix them. In one case, with a front suspension creak, I demonstrated the noise for them, and they had the car for 5 weeks and couldn't figure out what to do. While they had it, the temps got warmer and the noise went away. Quiet all summer. Now that it is getting cold again, I may give another dealer a shot at it.
This car rattles worse than my 2001 LS430 did, even at 160,000 miles!
Oh, and I can't just turn up the radio because compared to the Lexus, the radio stinks, too. Oh, but that TT V6. . . makes it all worth it.
I am now hearing a creaking from my pano roof. I’m pretty sure it’s at the back of the front glass. Gonna try this Gummi Fledge lubricant someone posted about earlier. If that don’t work I have a B Service coming up next month, I’ll bring it up to the dealer.

mine has been sort of a nightmare too. Find a dealer that cares about their customer feedback on yelp and then apply a good attitude with persistence.
