Retrofit Analogue Clock W205
Retrofit Analogue Clock W205
I'm almost ready to replace my piano black console with black ash console and analogue clock.
The clock has 3 wires : positive , negative and yellow signal wire.
Anybody know now where I can pick up a nearby link for the signal wire ?
I believe it goes on LIN bus channel 1 but I want to know what else runs on LIN bus Ch 1, so I can link in with that. I also believe it can be picked up in front SAM under the bonnet but that is a very last resort for me, I would prefer a suitable location near to the clock.
Any info greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yeah thanks for reply, I have looked through all the info.
I am posting for specific info which has never been answered. That is in relation to the yellow wire which is to be connected to Local Interconnect Network, I am asking for a suitable place to link in this wire, rather than sending a wire to the SAM module up front out of the interior.
Nobody seems to know this detail, I have been looking everywhere.

Could you tell me where you linked into in the drivers foot space ? Is your left hand drive mine is Right hand drive, so would it be same foot space ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Have fitted the silver switch bar to relocate the hazard switch but even my garage using Xentry say they cannot get the clock to sync to the correct time, or even the incorrect time. It's permanently stuck at half past two, so I suppose it's right twice a day...
