2015 C400 loaded
Extended warranty through Mercedes
I am fast approaching being out of warranty (43k miles) and having a fully loaded C400 with air suspension I am looking at the extended warranty, can anyone give feedback on the pricing on this. Look fair?

5yr/75K $2,299
5yr/100k $2,875
6yr/75k $2,599
6yr/100k $3,199

Time starts from in service date September 2014

The pricing on extended warranty can vary so I would recommend shopping around for the best price.

Have a look at the Extended Warranty section of MBWorld There are a handful of dealers that will get you a low price with one phone call, and they are listed there (as well as a thread somewhere in the W205 section as well).

Oddly enough, the forum is called "Extended Warranty Discussions".

Not sure if there are similar discounts in the UK, but i would browse/ask there and do a quick search on the rest of MBWorld, since there are probably posts under each model as well. Good luck with the search in the UK!

Those prices are full MSRP + the 15% charge for purchasing after the 1st 30days of ownership. You should be able to negotiate a discount. Go over the the warranty discussion subforum and read up. You can save a few hundred bucks if you do.

Based on your current mileage, I would go for the 7yr/75k option. This is tier 1 for C class. MSRP is $2500 + 15% for purchasing outside of the 1st 30 days of ownership ($2875). If you shop around you should easily be able to get the total price under $2500.
