Name the Things You Don't Like About Your W205

A few more...
1) No Apple CarPlay
2) No front fog lights
3) No headlight washers
4) No heated rear seats
5) No rear charging ports
6) No rear temperature control
Hey Mercedes I get it, my C Class is not an E or S Class, but even way less expensive American cars for instance have most of these features already...standard!
Look Mercedes, I love my C450, but I will continue to harp on your shortcomings when it comes to the C Class...shortcomings which would need to be rectified with the next redesign of the C Class if you want to keep me as a customer.

I personally have critisised the for not throwing in more standard equipment. But that's the way they want it

You know that the premium car makers want YOU to decide what you want, you spec your car to your preference. You choose to buy Mercedes, then you accept it flawds when it comes to what's accessible or not. Hey, it might not have Apple CarPlay, but it neither have Android Auto, so we are both screwed. Headlight washers, indeed they have, or at least here. Backseat heating, may not be standard but at least optional. Front foglights are integrated, so if you want then any other places, then you prefer form before function. Backseat climate regulation, again, not standard but optional. Seem like you do an awful lot of backseat driving. Charge through 12V out take, problem solved.

And it's not a German car thing either since BMW does offer ALL those features in their 3 Series. What's the sense for a luxury sedan to not at least offer those options?
Are you familiar with the phrase "The customer is always right"?

Never works......
I don't know why MBUSA chose to have it this way, apparently they HAVE made those choices for you. Your loss of their, on this side we can individualize and choose canaries and hummus till the money runs out. You are obligated to complain 😁
If it is any comfort, I haven't speced my car with backseat heating or climate control.
And you really need to do something with the federal laws that prohibit light assist.

My biggest complaint is that all the driver assistance tech should be standard. Look at these other car manufacturers doing it before MB.
adaptive cruise should be standard with the ability to change it to regular cruise if you wish. Although I would always keep it adaptive.

You do realize that the C Class (in the U.S. at least) does not offer ANY of those features I mentioned in my last post, no matter how much money you plunk down, right?

A sound system that sounds way below my sons Kia Ceed, which cost less than half the price of my C Class.
Being told that I would have to pay £573 per year if I wanted yearly map updates while again my son gets 7 years of free updates for his cheap Kia
No provision for any sort of spare wheel.
No heated windscreen/windshield. My Ford had that and I loved it.
No alarms for a part closed door.
Expensive service costs.
Having to pay for an options package to get the one option I was actually looking for so I had to go without.
A key fob that seems to have a range of half of England which would allow someone sitting a long way away to clone the entry function.

Hell, call me an a$$hole, but why would anyone buy any Benz below a 450 (or 340i/S4/ATS-v)?
Such a high premium for something that is pretty comparable to many cars that are 1/2 to 3/4 the price. seats are just as comfy, carplay, and A/C is A/C no matter what car you're in.. I guess you get to let people know you've "made it" when you're in your c180 Benz

And I couldn't care less about my "fake" AMG badging. I wanted a FI motor that was bigger than a 4 banger.
Also mine is a company vehicle and I could only choose between MB, Lexus, BMW, and Cadillac....
Nice try though

No door ajar warning - Why the hell do I have to drive away before knowing theres a door thats not closed properly???
Low Fuel Warning - When the low fuel warning comes on, it no longer displays how much distance you can drive before being out of fuel. Whats the point???
Still love the car very much but these are 2 things that I find very irritating

As for the distance remaining, I have never seen that indicated in the COMAND system. It is available in the Trip section of the instrument panel, but it doesn't come up automatically.

And then I might be stupid for buying a C350e?

turning your argument around why would you buy a benz with a big engine when you can buy much cheaper cars with big engines?

Concur with the rattles. I will probably never own another Mercedes because of all the rattles I have in my C450. Its out of control.
The vibrations when doing 3 point turns on the C450/C43 is embarrassing. I cant believe that made it to production.
