2018 Ordering Guide

Does anyone have an ordering guide for the 2018 C300 sedan? I've seen one for the coupe posted in an earlier thread but not for the four door model.

Think it's a little early for it. Based on history I'd say end of June July

A gaggle of MB's
What's New - 2018 W205 C-Sedan

The US DOG for 2018 C-Class W205 sedan was released way back end-March - and has since been updated/expanded end-April.

Every US MB dealer has the DOG - so you can sit down and get full details.

I cannot post full DOG - but as a courtesy I have posted the "What's New" page from the original end-March .

The reason I cannot post full DOG - I did that for the SUV forums up to last Fall - then some rock-head SUV forum member caused a real scene at his local dealership waving his forum downloaded DOG around - that guy was a a real piece of work - so his DOG thru this forum got tracked back to me - and I got a polite corp-politically-correct directive not to post DOG's - the turkey a*ss dude fracked this up for me/you.

Hope the What's New helps - just DON'T go postal and wave it around and lead back to me.

2018 C-Sedan is downplayed at dealer level - even downplayed to dealer Sales people - C's are a volume production model - so plenty of 2017's for your dealer to sell.

I'm gonna add something, as well. (I'm in possession of the OG, too.) There's no mention of the suspension options in the 2018 OG. If you look at the MY17 OG, the sport package is specifically listed as coming with the "sport suspension." For both the coupe and sedan order guides in their current form, there's no mention of any suspension choices. I think the AMG/Sport package will now be purely cosmetic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I'd love to be wrong—I think part of being a luxury brand is giving consumers greater choice.

I see the Smartphone Integration Package (868) is now available. Any idea if this will be a retrofit option in the MY2016 C-Class? I know this has been asked before but I haven't seen an update in a while. Thanks!

The 2018 guide posted by unr1 is the same version I was emailed by a salesman about two weeks ago. When I ordered a car a few days later, the dealer showed the premium driver assistance package msrp at $3050, not $3300. The destination charge for a California Bay Area dealer by - not listed in the order guide - was $995 versus $925 in 2017.

I wish MB had a way to track your build progress. When I ordered a BMW about 15 years ago I was able to see detailed information including when production would start and what ship it would be on, with departure and arrival dates.

They are built in Alabama so no long sail here.

The dealers in the USA are still getting some made in South Africa. I was quite surprised. I recently had a 2017 C Class loaner made in SA.

Actually, there is not much difference in the price between the two years. I just ordered a pretty loaded 2018, msrp of $56,315. A 2017 with the same options (as far as possible) according to Edmunds, has an msrp of about $55,200. The differences are that the 2018 comes with the 9G tronic versus the 7G in the 2017 and the 2018 has a standard sunroof. The 2017 with the Premium 4 package has the fragrance system, which I didn't order.

Be careful on the Smartphone Integration package as it is being categorized as delayed availability. I told my dealer when I ordered my 2018 that it HAD to be on the car or I would not take delivery. They still haven't 100% confirmed it would be on the car I ordered. And has been previously stated in this forum, the Smartphone Integration is only available on the Audio 20; not the COMAND.

I was told my car would be built in Sept and delivered around late Oct. No idea if those dates are accurate or not.

FWIW...

I am little confused. I want the "Smartphone Integration Package (868)" and the "Premium driver assistance package (997)", But the Multimedia Package is not available with Smartphone Integration Package (868) and premium driver assistance package (997) requires Multimedia Package (320). does this mean I can not have them both?

Most likely have to pick one over the other. MB really screwed the pooch with CarPlay/Android Auto. The Audio20 is a sea of black plastic and slow performance.

You are totally correct. The 2018 C300 just showed up on MB website. I played around the configuration. The premium driver assistance package and the Smartphone Integration Package cannot coexist. I have not had a Mercedes for almost 7 years, and the BMW I am driving also does not have those latest safety features. Now I have to decide which package is the most important for me. 
