It has G sensor. If someone hits your car, the recordings will be created in different filename so that it doesn't get overwritten.

I have wanted a dashcam for a while but have not purchased one because I didn't want to have one attached to my windshield, I just don't like the way it looks. This device is perfect, however, I do not know anything about dashcams. Would another member who knows about dashcams please post some thoughts on how the features of this dashcam compares to others on the market?
