Technically the C300 W05 wastegate is mechanical, but boost is controlled by the ECU via vacuum/target boost, so the turbo upgrade doesn't affect the function of the wastegate and/or wastegate control at all.

In reference to your 300whp - is that just tune and turbo or does that include the downpipe, etc?

Also kind of general - won't internals need to be upgraded after about 350whp? Something's bound to break...

The customers that are hitting 300WHP, have turbo back exhaust, intake, turbo, tune and water meth.

just wanted to say thank you to turbokits as I received my armytrix valvetronic exhaust and Catless downpipe as well as the water/meth kit from them today for my C300

Just waiting for their upgraded turbo to show up then I’ll have it all installed and it’ll be going to AMR after that for the tune

so we should have solid documented tune and power numbers by the end of November

right now I’m running a jb4 beta tuner setup on map 2 and it’s definitely faster than stock ..but I haven’t had it dynoed so I’m just going by my butt dyno

I can’t wait to see the actual numbers after this upgrade!

Pre upgrade dyno numbers

just an fyi for anyone interested

I had my c300 on the dyno today and with the stock tune I put down 192whp

the only upgrade is the burger tuning cai

with the jb4 beta tune on map 2 ( most aggressive) tune it put down a whopping 198whp

a whole 6hp more with the jb4...lol

700$ for 6hp doesn’t seem like such a good deal

You sure you had the JB4 setup correctly? Even with JB1 is putting down 222whp...Something certainly seems off there.

well considering theres only 1 plug to plug in and the Bluetooth obd2 setup I’m not sure what I could have hooked up wrong?

its certainly showing it’s running map 2 on my app

Upgrades installed

The new turbo/downpipe/exhaust and meth kit were all installed today. Pretty straightforward install..no hitches or gotchas

the meth injection install is tight and we had to remove the intercoller to do it properly..but everything is in

i have an appointment with amr tuning on November 26th to let them do their magic ..and then we’ll see what the results are

hi turbokits, I am wondering is it ok that we do not install water meth? How will it perform without water meth? How many whp? Is all the stock Internal component able to support this upgrade?

You do not have to install water meth, but you will not be able to run the higher boost levels the turbo is capable of flowing. So you would leave HP on the table.

hi everyone,

just want to share dyno result after upgrade the turbo

so the specs are,

the turbo upgrade from turbokits
Armytrix full exhaust system
stage 2 tune by our local tuner

so the number are
Power : 246.89 WHP
Torque: 435.98 Nm

and also this is the log from my local tuner

still waiting for the AEM WMI kit and some upgrade with the air filter system

will post dyno result after all the kit come

Yes the armytrix comes together with the downpipe

air filter will be using something like arma “carbon air filter” but it still on the way

do you have any check engine lights with the Catless downpipe?

i just had all mine installed and haven’t driven it at all til it’s tuned

just curious if the 02 sensors are throwing a code

Update for 11-27-18

I dropped my c300 off at AMR tuning in Danbury, Ct yesterday for the tune.

If you are in the New England area and you're looking to have some tune work done...then AMR is the way to go. When I walked into their shop yesterday they were working on a pair of new c63S with upgraded turbo's and tuning putting down around 900HP/1000+ Tq

The owners personal car is a new 2019 e63 with a custom tune only and is putting down over 800Hp/1000+ Tq - Talk about a beautiful car...

I feel VERY comfortable that they will tune my c300 to an optimal level - just need to wait a few days to see what the result will be !
