Thoughts?
Have you heard or seen people getting 15% plus off MSRP? I am branching out of state at this point to get the best deal. Many on other forums said it wasn't a great deal, seemed to high.
I agree with others. It's not the "best" deal possible. But considering your not putting a dollar down, it's the best possible price from the salesmans point of view.
I have seen people getting 15-20 % off current year 2017 models. No word on 2018s. I would try out of state options and shop shop shop around. Don't settle, think about it, and get what you want at the price you want. The dealer can do much better.
I almost took the deal, too. Whew....Do you think its feasible to get the same car with payments of ~450/mo?

For that car, it should be around 469 to max 500 a month here in NY.
I would call the all dealers that bang out c300s all day long. High volume selling. When you call ask how many they sell per month. Compare and contrast, some dealers aren't dealers, they are fakers pretending to make deals to put all that extra commission money in their pockets.
I shopped around one dealer in Smithtown NY where I live close to 5-10 miles away from my house. The guy quoted me 8k down at 640 per month for a P1 package c300 with colors and options I didn't want.
I walked out.
I went to another dealer in Southampton, NY and they had the car I wanted, colors i wanted, for the prices I wanted and was happy to pay for. It's merely the attitude of the dealer, they either make the deal or you walk out.
Thanks for your advice!
At the same time, contact everyone in close proximity to you in TX and take that salesmans quote and use it as a shining light in a dark tunnel. A salesman at any other dealer is either:
A: Going to take that price or Match it.
B: Drop the price even further.
The further you go down in price. The better the deal becomes, as you keep taking prices and quotes and all that good stuff, you just keep bouncing from dealer to dealer to dealer with each new quote until you get the lowest price possible and the price you want.
Have you had any issues getting your MSDs back?
I initially searched the Houston area. Now I have branched out all over TX and the country. Funny how they told me we only have a few of the ones you want in the country or southern region.....sureeeeee.
Never thought I could lease out of state. I am not sure how that works and was looking in other forums for more info. Can you point me to a forum or post you may know of?
