Just ran over a plastic bag, what to do?
just ran over a plastic bag on the streets that had stuff in it. Could’ve swerve in time. I checked my rear view mirror after to see if it was visible but it wasn’t. It might be underneath the car?

Usually, they stick on the hot exhaust and melt to it, but you will smell burning plastic if that happens. If you went by some type of Firestone or Goodyear tire shop, they usually will lift the car and remove it for you without much hassle, unless the store you visit happens to be full of nasty people. I know it didn't bother me to remove stuff like that for people as a courtesy.

happened to me too, if it’s a heavy duty bag, drive around wait for the car to warm up and u can pull most of it off then either let it burn off naturally or if u have a friend or jacks scrape it off with sand paper or whatever u want If it’s a thin bag leave it, it’s gonna burn off within a few days. Up to u.

Happened to my CLS55 as well. I could smell the burning. I pulled off the bigger pieces of melted plastic and let the rest cook off by themselves. Smell went away after a few days.
