Warranty period on C300 auxiliary battery (or capacitor bank)
C300 4MATIC 2015 VIN55SWF4KB4FU020579 started showing 'auxiliary battery malfunction' at 49,800 miles or so. Want to know if warranty period covers repairs as car just rolled over 50,000 last week. Service interval notice popped up saying only 200 miles to service. Thx...George F.

If you're over 50k miles then your warranty is over. The battery malfunction has nothing to do with the service interval.
It's easy enough to change, it's under the carpeting on the right front footwell. I haven't looked up a price on them yet, they've all been on warranty cars.
