Noise when put on park

Does your transmission makes a pretty noticeable mechanical noise when you put your transmission in Park ?
I just noticed that when the radio is off. Usually from reverse to park.

weird, I am asking because I was going very slowly coming out of my driveway and I accidentally put in in park while moving, I was trying to activate the wipers... the car came to a stop.. I am not sure if this is related. Are there no fail-safe to prevent that kind of mistake ?

Yes it's normal. Mine does the same.

If you're over a certain speed (maybe 5 mph) the Park button will not do anything.

Mine does the same thing, press Park and an audible noise is made. Just be aware the automatic E-brake is also placed on if you open the car door, but this sounds more like a mechanical door whirring closed.

No, I'm having multiple transmission problems.
Dealer indicates the solonoid that handles shifts between gears is making too much noise compared to other vehicles, as are my exhaust valves.
The rock guards under the car were shipped detached and it took six months to find the rock guards problem.
That left some components under the vehicle exposed and potentially damaged....
I also have serious slipping when the car is cold and has been sitting for a few days....

Noise in park as well

I recently noticed on a 2017 C 43, with the 9G-TRONIC, if I hit the park button, there is a click or tick sound. It doesn't do it when switching to Drive or Reverse or Neutral.

What I found odd is, this sound is also present when the transmission shifts from the 7th gear to 8th, any idea what it might be?

There is also a whining/whirring sound when I go to Drive or Reverse from Park. Sounds electrical and mechanical at the same time, any ideas as well?

For example, the tick is at the 2 second mark, 5 second mark, 8 second mark, 15 second mark.

For example whining (or whirring) is at the 1 second mark, 3 second mark, 6 second mark, 9 second mark, 16 second mark.

The tick sound when engaging park sounds very similar if not identical to the sound when shifting from gear 7 to gear 8.

The whirring/whining and the tick are two different noises.

Thank you for reading this. All suggestions are welcomed!

Can anyone please kindly help, thank you!
As for the whirring/whining/humming sound, turns out there are more details, the sound is longer than expected than the previous video linked. The recording device is now closer to the floor so the sound afterwards is heard this time, If you hear a tick, that is the sound I am talking about when putting the car in Park.:
