Hi guys, I just got the 'Auxiliary Battery Failure' message today in to onboard display. Going to the dealer next friday to get this addressed under warranty. I wonder how much this would cost in an out of warranty repair. They said it is 1.5 hours.
The component to be replaced is a voltage converter that costs about 400 US. It has a high failure rate and has been superseded several times. It resides under the carpet on the firewall in the passengers footwell and can be replaced in approx 30 mins. Luckily you still have warranty I don’t and have applied for a goodwill replacement as my vehicle has only 30 k on it. A remanufactured component can be purchased from parts. com for about 120US

Thanks, its good to know. I hope this car and all the accessories won't start to fall appart in the upcoming months.....
What was wrong with the track pad? At one point I was feeling that the click for the favorite was weird, but I think its fine now.
Exactly the same problem with the Favorites button. It randomly would feel locked out with no pattern regarding cabin temperature etc. If it happens at all get it fixed as it will keep coming back.

can some body explain what it is . it went off on its own but reappeared after two day and f again went off after switching of the engine
obliged if some one can explain what it means the manual i cannot find any thing. when a google i found that it is due auxiliary battery failure.

Hi, I also have a C200. I got this message several times until the battery died so I replaced it. Please see attached picture. Sometimes I still get this message maybe because I dont drive the car much only on Weekends. Also I installed 2 door projectors I guess they eat some power before starting the car.

If there is a battery mulfunction then you will get a battery malfunction message on your dashboard. Stop vehicle keep engine running is related to the main battery. Mainly because you don't drive the car much.
