IphoneX and YouTube Music Streaming Issue
I have a 2016 C300 with the MultiMedia PKG. I also have an Apple iPhone X with the latest update 11.4.1 software. With the last update (I believe), when I try to stream YouTube music through my phone to the Comand either through bluetooth or by connecting through the USB port, YouTube keeps stopping and the Apple Music playlists takes over.
This just started happening recently and I believe it may have been after the last update. Is anyone else having this issue?
I have done all of the usual, paired, unpaired, rebooted the phone, etc. etc. etc. No luck.

iPhones with Apple Music deleted don’t show up on comand for me 
unfortunately this has been happening since I have had my car
new updates make it easier but Apple Music still takes over abruptly, I don’t think there is a fix !

I tried deleting Apple Music and still did not have any luck. In fact, comand didn’t even recognize any music and wouldn’t play anything. I guess eventually there will be an update, but this is irritating.

i don't seem to be having this problem neither on IOS 11.1.4 or IOS 12 Beta 4
but i do understand what you mean as it happens if i click play from the Comand system it starts playing from apple music but if i click on play from the youtube app it plays normally, i would suggest you download an app called imusic or mytube as it acts like any other music app and works while the iphone is locked.
