C-class Service After 4 years / 40000 - Anything special to expect ?
Do you know if any "surprise" is to be expected when it's time for yearly check after 4 years and 40000 kms ?
And in the future, what could be the big expenses ?
Thank you for your feedback.
The only things I've done so far at around 50-60k miles (don't exactly remember when but now i'm at 72k) are as follows: spark plugs (i bought them online and took it to the indy and paid only an hr of labor), transmission service (I think it was about 400 and i got this done through the dealer since it is a sealed unit and even though the indy could've done it, the price was only 50 dollars cheaper there so it was a no brainer to just get it done through the dealer, just in case), and front and rear diff (I also only paid for an hr of labor plus the diff fluids).
So all in all, if i remember right, the dealer quoted somewhere like 400 for the diff service and somewhere 400 for the spark plugs as well, which means I saved quite a bit of money by getting it done by the indy.
Even for the brakes, I bought the factory front rotors and ebc redstuff pads for both front and rear for about 400 and paid my friend a 100 for his time. So all in all, i spent only 500 whereas the quote i got from the dealer was 1000.
These are the only things that i've done so far ever since i bought the car, which i bought last april and had 22k miles when i bought it. Within a year and 5 months, I put on 50k miles and those are the only things i had to do other than regular oil changes using mobil1 0w-40 every 6k miles (NOT doing 10k or 12k mile interval as the dealer recommends), tires, and new cabin, dust and intake filter every year.

Thank you, but isn't it better to go to the official dealer to connect the diagnostic computer and maybe find problems that a standard shop couldn't find ?
And when changing oil, how do you reset the computer ?
